I am a medical doctor from Saudi Arabia and I have now completed residency positions at home in Saudi Arabia as well as in the United States. I am currently in the final year of a fellowship program in pulmonary/critical care at XXXX University Hospital. My experience in medicine thus far has left me hungry to broaden my horizons in the area of Medical Education and Leadership. While I love the ‘hands-on’ time, I seek the challenge and excitement of making important contributions to the enhancement of medical leadership, especially in my home country, Saudi Arabia. As a result of completing a Master’s Degree in this area in the USA, I hope to someday lead an international medical organization that has ties to my country, Saudi Arabia, or the Arab World more generally speaking.

I was born in Evansville, Indiana only because my father was studying there at the time, the raised in Saudi Arabia. It has been a wonderful experience to return to the land of my birth as a doctor and I distinguished myself in my first residency position in Internal Medicine here in the USA, with XXXX University/University’s Medical Center in XXXX (06/13-5/15). Since July of last year, 2015, I have been enjoying to the utmost the rigors of a fellowship in Pulmonary/Critical Care at The XXXX University Hospital in XXXX. In addition to my experience as a practicing physician, I am also published in several areas related to transplant surgery and Neuroendocrine disorders.

Prior to that time, I completed a residency in IM at King Saud University; other highlights of my sojourn in medicine so far included participating in the 3rd Annual Acute Coronary Syndrome Symposium College of Medicine at King Saud University in Riyadh, in March 2006 and an Annual AIDS Workshop later that same year.
